Hassan Rashad, head of Egypt’s General Intelligence Service (GIS – El Mukhabarat El ‘Amma), met with General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, in the Red Sea city of Port Sudan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across all sectors.
The two sides also explored efforts to restore stability in Sudan, emphasizing the importance of coordinated action to end the ongoing conflict in a way that safeguards the country’s unity and territorial integrity.
