Royal Air Maroc Named Best Airline in Africa for Second Consecutive Year
SHARE

Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s state-owned flag carrier, has been named the “Best Airline in Africa” for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position as a dominant player in the highly competitive African aviation industry. The prestigious award, announced during the 2025 GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, recognizes Royal Air Maroc for its continued excellence in performance, passenger service, and overall operational success.

This achievement highlights the airline’s consistent commitment to enhancing the travel experience for its passengers and adapting to the growing demands of the African aviation market. Competing against some of the continent’s largest and most established carriers—including Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways, and Kenya Airways—Royal Air Maroc has managed to maintain a competitive edge, securing its place at the top of the industry.

The award is based on the results of a comprehensive survey conducted by Global Traveler, an American magazine renowned for its focus on travel industry insights. The survey collected feedback from over 20,000 travel professionals and frequent flyers, making the accolade even more significant in terms of credibility and industry recognition.

Royal Air Maroc’s continued success can be attributed to its strong focus on passenger satisfaction, operational efficiency, and its strategic expansion within Africa and beyond. The airline’s ability to adapt and thrive amid stiff competition is a testament to the effectiveness of its business strategies and commitment to maintaining a world-class service.

By winning the title for the second year in a row, Royal Air Maroc is further solidifying its reputation as the leading airline in Africa, while also contributing to Morocco’s status as an emerging powerhouse in global aviation.
