A new statement from Pasha Tabiq, an advisor to the commander of the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF), followed a targeted attack on the Wadi Seidna Air Base by the RSF, resulting in significant damage to warplanes, drones, and weapons depots.
Tabiq revealed plans for further strikes in the coming days, targeting key sites associated with what he referred to as “Burhan’s militias and terrorist brigades,” with Port Sudan reportedly being the next major target.
In response, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry condemned the RSF’s attack on a shelter center in Atbara, which resulted in at least 11 deaths. The Ministry accused the RSF of resorting to “cowardly terrorist tactics” following consecutive defeats in recent months. The Ministry also stated that the RSF’s strategy includes targeting power stations nationwide, disrupting critical services such as water plants and hospitals, as part of a larger “genocidal campaign.”
A social media video reportedly shows the aftermath of an RSF strike on a power station in Al-Makaylab, located in Berber city, River Nile State, from Sunday.
