The Amhara Fano National Force (AFNF), under the North Amhara Zone Belay Zeleke Command, has carried out a successful operation against the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) in the Amhara Region, specifically along the Ethio-Sudan border in the Gondar Metema area.
The operation took place in the areas of Delello Number One, Shmele Gara, and Delello Number Five, where the AFNF reportedly clashed with the ENDF.
According to reports, more than 170 ENDF personnel were killed, and over 40 were captured during the operation. Additionally, a significant cache of weapons was seized, including:
- 100 Kalashnikov rifles
- 6 Bren guns
- 1 sniper rifle
- 1 Dishka
- 5 military radios
